Spontis wants to develop new circular economy projects based on the waste generated by its customers' activities. Capitalizing on the experience acquired through their first project, "Valplast" (plastic waste recycling), Spontis wishes to deepen the integration of new strategic and multi-partner activities.
Initial discussions between Spontis and La Fabrique Circulaire have highlighted the opportunity to diversify the company's business model to create an incubator for sustainable projects. As this project implied a change in the company's culture, organization and internal governance, the aim of La Fabrique Circulaire's support was to prepare Spontis to take up this new challenge.
Thanks to the collaboration, Spontis was able to take a step back from its organization, manage internal resistance to change and set up a team dedicated to incubating new projects, with clearly defined roles and responsibilities. A complete 5-stage project incubation process - from idea to validation - and tools were also proposed, iterated and validated.
In order to move from theory to practice, the incubation process was tested through a concrete pilot project, then adjusted.
At the end of the coaching, Spontis is ready to incubate and pilot new projects with other players in its value chain, based on the principles of the circular economy and sustainability.
