Pro Beton has long been proactive in improving its environmental impact. To this end, the company has taken steps to offer low-carbon concrete recipes to architects and builders.

La Fabrique Circulaire is helping Pro Beton to strengthen the use of low-carbon concrete ranges in Geneva's construction sector. Because the aggregates used to make concrete are an exhaustible resource, and public acceptance of the extension and opening of new quarries is increasingly low.

A review of the advantages of recycled concrete was therefore carried out, and these were then translated into a targeted communication strategy aimed at partners and customers. The messages are developed by combining Pro Beton's technical knowledge, La Fabrique Circulaire's sustainability expertise, and consultation with Pro Beton's suppliers, partners and customers.

Pro Beton's objective is clear: positively influence clients towards low-carbon construction choices, and accelerate the adoption of circular economy principles in the construction sector.
