Ideal Chimic is investing in the development of new ranges of ecological or bio-based products. But its customers tend to stick to their traditional products out of habit.

The idea was to develop a tool to measure and compare the environmental impact of the different detergents in a range.

Using the LCA (life cycle assessment) methodology, La Fabrique Circulaire has developed a calculation tool that compares the impact of different products in terms of Kg of CO2 eq and in relation to planetary limits. This tool has been successfully tested on a range of detergents.

The next steps for Ideal Chimic could be to integrate these results into the commercial offer and to extend this work to other product ranges.
